Merton Unity Network (MUN) is a
"collective voice" for Merton's Black, Asian and minority
ethnic (BAME) communities. MUN focuses on the 'bigger,
more strategic' issues and explores how these are likely to impact
upon member organisations and how they can respond. MUN works in
partnership with a wide range of agencies, regionally, sub-regionally
and locally.
MUN continually assess service
provision for BAME organisations and provides culturally appropriate
support tailored to the needs of BAME groups, where gaps are identified;
to enable groups to maximise and sustain meaningful and positive
service impact. You can find out more about MUN via the following

D.R.I.P
MUN's Development, Research & Information Project (DRIP) provides
drop-in resource and a peer support network for the development
and sustainability of Merton's Black Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME)
organisations. DRIP was launched in October 2008 and includes
both an ICT hub and a Library (including research data) for easy
access by groups. DRIP has established a Peer Support Network
(PSN) which is the operational arm of the BME Forum. This
Network meets bi-monthly to pursue a range of tasks.
DRIP provides capacity building training for which details
